PURPOSE: Educate elementary school children on proper 911 usage 

Police departments use School Resource Officers to conduct visits and presentations to elementary and middle schools within their districts. The purpose of these visits is to create community goodwill while also educating the children on the appropriate usage of the 911 call program.
