Which ever format logo you supply us with, we will send your artwork to production as a vector file. If you have the ability to upload your artwork in any file type, our preference is an EPS (vector).
Vector Artwork
Promotional products are often imprinted using artwork that has been converted into a vector format. Vector artwork is composed of points, lines, curves and shapes that are based on mathematical formulas. This allows the artwork to be scaled or manipulated without distorting the logo or losing image quality.
Saving Your Artwork
If you are already sending your artwork in a vector format, please be sure to convert any text to outlines to avoid our systems replacing that font with a different font when received. This will allow us to keep your text exactly the way you submit it.
You also want to be sure any images that are not converted to vector are embedded into the file, so that they still appear in the file when we open it up.
Not Vector? No Problem!
If your logo is sent to us in a raster format (JPG, PNG, BMP, etc.), we will recreate or convert your logo into the vector artwork required to decorate your custom promotional products. This is a service we offer free of charge!
Vector FAQs
Where do I send my logo?
With Executive Advertising, your Ordering Account comes with its very own Artwork Library to keep every logo handy and on file! Here are step-by-step instructions on how to upload your artwork to your Artwork Library.
How long does it take to get my non-vector artwork recreated?
Typically, it will take one business day for your artwork to be recreated, and an artwork proof to be sent to you. More complicated requests may require more time to finalize before they are sent to you for review.
Why are vector files needed?
In short, because you don’t want your artwork to look bad! Each product has a specific imprint area, and tweaks may be needed to make your logo work to its maximum potential for an item. For example, if you submit a non-vector file and we need to make it larger, it can often become pixilated when resized, meaning that the edges and details of your art will become blurry and not very clear. Converting your artwork to vector will allow us to manipulate your logo without losing quality.
Can you send me the vector artwork file after it's recreated?
Yes, we do offer a paid recreation service if you are interested in purchasing the vector format of your artwork. Contact your Customer Service Rep for more details.
